You need to install a Java based webserver first. You can either install Apache or Websphere.

See think link for details:

Hi

I try to Download and install one of the following Java-based Web servers to host TM1 Contributor:

IBM WebSphere Application Server Community Edition (CE) V2.1.1.2

But the could not get the download path link in IBM site-

Do you have download link for WebSphere Application Server Community Edition (CE) V2.1.1.2.

Note: we have valid login ID's for IBM site.

Ravi

Since it's a community edition, you don't need logins.

As for finding it, Google is your friend:

As for the rest of the install, the details are all in Chapter 5 of the tm1_install.pdf document for 9.5.1 (I would guess it'll be the same place for 9.5). It walks you through all the steps.

I just successfully did an Apache install yesterday. Wasn't quick, but nor was it especially difficult if you step through each of the instructions.
