cognos TM1 integrating with Reporting tools?

hi,
please explain me that can we report the TM1 cubes in all existing reporting tools and integrating with that tools.
Can we integrate Cognos TM1 with(we can do with Cognos 8 BI).
SAP BO
Oracle BI
any other Reporting tools.
Any suggestions for this.

Almost anything can be done if you have the will to set it up and maintain it. Cognos 8 is the only tool that will natively connect in to the data. Every other tool I know of will require some sort of gynmastics to report off the data. If you are looking for a plug and play solution then Cognos is your answer. We attacked the problem using Analysis Services to host the data, our report writer (Information Builders) could natively connect to Analysis Services.

Do you have a specific tool that you are using? Or an scenario that you are try to report off of? Attacking this problem with specifics is your best bet of getting answers over vague generalities.

Cognos 8 is the only tool that will natively connect in to the data.

There are other tools like Cubeware Cockpit or Arcplan Enterprise that will connect natively too.
I'm sure there are other tools that can connect using the TM1 ODBO provider, although this is often a bit more advanturous (we tried connecting to TM1 from SAS Enterprise Guide once, which worked from time to time, but also crashed the client from time to time).

It is good to know that there are some others. All the ones that I had access to use did not play nicely through the ODBO connector.

Oracle BI definately doesn't connect very easily. It's the first thing I tried when we bought it.
