Hi,
In TM1 9.4 FP2 web, when I try to slice/snapshot one particular Excel, I get the error:
Excel could not open the Xml spreadsheet: Exception from HRESULT: 0x800A03EC
The wierd thing is the tm1web.log file seems to be flooded with the below error at the time I was trying snapshot. Could someone help me understand where the problem is and what I should do?
2010-07-05 06:14:21,046 [10] ERROR Applix.TM1.Web.WebControls.Websheet.FormulaParser.PtgRef - failed to get last row number

Re: failed to get last row number
Hello,
If you hit Ctrl-End in the Excel file you upload, in what cell do you end up?
Are there any ojects on the sheet that might give troubles when snapshotting?
Any other uncommon / weird things in the Excel file (for instance #REF! errors, hidden sheets that could cause problems, ...)
Did you try to take out parts of the Excel file, upload and test? If it still does not work, delete more of the file. And so. Until you (hopefully) see that it works and you can start comparing the last and last but one file. Chances are big the problem will be there.
Wim

Re: failed to get last row number
Hi,
When I do Ctrl+End, I land in the cell "133W". I tried unhiding all the rows and columns and uploading it and still the same error persists.
And regarding your suggestion to try out with small portions of the file, I will test and let you know
Thank you!

Re: failed to get last row number
If an Excel has hidden rows/columns, you cannot slice/snapshot it in TM1 Web?
