hi,

i cant store the data to the cube through dbs function
the formula i have written is
=DBS(A7,"local:Cube1","Expense","FY2009-P01","store1","Actual")



the cell in which i ahve written this formula is showing a zero value... but the a7 cell i have a value 5000.
can any one tell me the reason for this?

Is the answer as simple as pressing F9 to calculate? I have seen this in my workbooks where the DBS is showing the current value in the cube - only when I calculate does it send the value to the cube and show this as the result in the cell.
