Is it possible to have 2 picklists in a cube where the picklist options of the second list are dependent on the selection in another.
The elements are rleated through a dimension hirearchy of Major Product Group -> Minor Product Group -> Item
I want a pick list of the major product groups, when selected the second pick lists only shows the Minor Product Groups of the Major Product Group selected.
Working with TM1 9.5, windows 2003 R2 64 bit server.
Thanks
Tony

Tony,
you create cube picklist then write some rules to fill the minor

Hi
Is this question about TM1 or Enterprise Planning? This looks like a relational approach

If you put this in one dimension of three levels and then expand the Major Product Group you will see the related Minor Product Group. Your approach seems to imply that you are treating these as separate dimensions, or tables, which is probably the wrong way to approach the problem in TM1Major Product Group -> Minor Product Group -> Item
