Info on Roadmaps for TM1
Hey!
I remember that Applix time ago posted some ppt about features and improvements (or a product roadmap) for the new TM1 versions in the following quarters with the estimated, this info is still provided by cognos? Is there a document like that?
Thanks!

Not likely, but if they had one it'd probably look something like the attached

If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator.

No I spoke with Corbett and Congos does not allow them to release that information without a rep present.

If this was the old Forum, that post would be an A+.Steve Vincent wrote:Not likely, but if they had one it'd probably look something like the attached

Re: Info on Roadmaps for TM1
I'm sure that they have internal plans, but for the most part what they've provided as "roadmaps" in the past have been OBE'd (Overtaken By Events.) For example, I outlined what they supplied as a roadmap at the AP conference late last year:rodrigo wrote:Hey!

Let's compare that with what has come to pass:
- 9.1SP3 has indeed been released. Unfortunately it still has critical bugs in it.
- 9.1SP4 was slated for Q2 of 2008, which ended 1 and a bit months ago.
- From the sounds of it, "Cougar" has become 9.F-word. This was slated for Q3 and if, IF they do release it later this month, then that one will have been met. The question of course will then become "will they bother fixing the bugs in 9.1 SP3, or will they just say "Oh, you should upgrade to 9.F-word regardless of the fact that you won't be able to go back should the migration go pear-shaped"?
- Still no sign of the Master Data Management, unless that's in 9.F-word.
- The "Lion" release remains a mystery.

Re: Info on Roadmaps for TM1
I recieved this a while back for their Cognos Performance 2008. Looks like they have about 13 dates in North America. Not sure if it was what you are looking for, but the closest I have seen to a customer event.

Re: Info on Roadmaps for TM1
Thanks,
Well "Lion" seems to be a mystery.. probably Cognos Report Studio will take over the reporting on a year or something.. dunno, I like EV.. I hope new versions of TM1, instead of a better graphic enviroment and new icons, could provide an AVG and a moving AVG.
Buenas and Saludos guys!
