Stat Cubes purpose

I'd like to ask if anybody can like give me a run down on the purpose of all the Stat Cubes in TM1. I tried looking at the }StatsByClient and I was wondering if its normal for it the Bytes/Message to appear as #N/A, since I'm more familiar with it appear as such on cubes when there are calculation problems.

If its not much problem, could you like explain the dimension elements for the stats cubes (e.g. }StatsByClient: Elapse Time, Message Count, etc...) if not if which document that comes along with TM1 I should read for it.
