Re: Open the same report to the time in tm1web it marks error
Hello,
The question is meant to mean the following:
When two different users enter tm1web and open the same excel report at the same time, one of this users can enter but the other one has a connection error.
What we think is the problem is here, is that the report on TM1Web is only available to the first user that gets it, so the next one that tries to get it at the almost the same time is kicked and the with a error displayed. If this second user (the rejected report user) logs out and reconnects, this user is able to see it.
¿This is a normal behavior?
The TM1 version is 94FP3
Thanks,

Re: Open the same report to the time in tm1web it marks error
How is the application folder entry created as a "reference" (that is a shortcut to the file in a windows directory) or is it copied to the server in the }Externals folder?
Depending on version, if the files are a reference then if one user has a file open in Excel then no users will be able to open them on TM1 web. Therefore it is always best to make sure that applications are uploaded to the server and not created as references.
