TM1 executive viewer

Hi All,

I am struggling hard to configure TM1 executive viewer.
I have installaed TM1 server on my machine.Now I want my executive viewer to use my TM1 server so that I can work on the reports/cubes already developed.
I am not able to configure datasource/database.
Anyone having any reference material please share.

Sudheen, there should be a 'DocLibrary' directory where you will find pdf reference materials for TM1. You can also find it on IBM's website.

What is your datasource?

If it is DB2, there is a manual step you have to do. Check the docs.

I have referred all documents provided by TM1 but still not able to point EV to use my existing TM1 server.

I get this error message whenever I try to configure database
Internal IBM Cognos TM1 Executive Viewer Server Error.\r\nAdditional info: Could not load tm1api.dll due to:

On further investigation I found that I need to reregister the dll files and also change the tm1 ini file (Tm1p.ini).
I could not find any such ini file in my machine.
I have attached screenshot for your reference.
If you have configured EV to use your local server ,request you to please attach screenshots of the steps.
Request you to please advice if you have any idea regarding this.

What version our you running of EV and TM1? I was having the same problem with 9.4 EV and 9.5 TM1.

There is a specialist EV forum at http://www.evusers.org you might get better help with Ev set up issues there?
Not sure if you have already tried them or not.
