Unable to Assign Security to an Individual User

Hi All,

Please look into the below mentioned Scenario and let me know your solution against it.

Scenario:

My TM1 model has three groups (G1, G2, G3), 3 Cubes(C1, C2, C3) & 3 Users(U1, U2, U3). All the three users belong to all the three groups and all the three groups have write access to all the three cubes. But I want U1 to have only read access to C1, as per my understanding the User privileges will have the same privileges as group has. So in this case how can I restrict the user U1 individually to have read access to C1.

FYI.. I tried from TM1 Architect i.e. Server-->Security-->Clients/Groups, Cubes-->Security Assignments but in none of them I was unable to assign security against individual user.

Well, unless I'm missing something, you should remove user U1 from Groups G2 and G3, which will just leave U1 with write access to G1.

Why are all the users in each group with each group having the same rights as the others? The only reason to have different security groups is to differentiate privileges between groups. In your model, I would only have 2 groups. User 1 with Group 1 having only read privileges to cube 1 and read/write for cubes 2 and 3. Users 2 and 3 would belong to Group 2 which would have read/write for all 3 cubes.

Forgot to ask you, it is not possible to hard code as well i.e. through the advanced tab of Turbo Integrator.
