We are moving from the Web to Client based implementation and in such I have been asked to set some defaults for the users. So far most everything I have tried to do is nicely located in the tm1p.ini file. I have now been asked to hide the properties on the subset editor (so it does not display the weight and index) but it does not appear in the ini file. It persits when I close out and reenter the perspectives program. Where does this setting get set? I even checked the registry and I could not see anything related to it.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi George,
This information is stored in a (binary) file called subset.tbd, which is in the same directory as your tm1p.ini file.

I believe that accursed file is used only while the system is running. As far as I can tell the storage between sessions is still done in tm1p.ini, although it's done a little opaquely. See my comments about the arguments to the SubsetWindowLayoutInfo parameter in thread http://forums.olapforums.com/viewtopic. ... 864&p=9636.Michel Zijlema wrote:Hi George,

Thanks for the responses.
I tried the manuals and searching the forums to no avail.
