Excel with Microsoft Project object

Hello,

First of all Happy New Year to everybody...
But before going out to have fun for the new year party i would like to make you a qestion about the integration between Excel and Microsoft Project.
Any of you have ever had an experience in this kind of integration? if yes, do you know if there is a place where I can find this information (how to)?
What I would like is :

1) vith a VBA macro create and feed a Microsoft Project (a simple plan) with all valua, dates and so on stored in the Excel (I don't know maybe there is some Cognos API to do it )
2) Make a TI procedure that update the Cube where the Project changes his values

This is not an answer to your question but hope!

The following is from an IBM whitepaper on budgeting, which mentions integrating MS Project with TM1.

GTC Biotherapeutics, Inc. is a biotechnology company. GTC applies transgenic

produce therapeutic proteins during lactation. The milk is then purified into the final

in-house and third-party development projects, plans indicate how GTC development
activities convert into financial results. TM1 helps evaluate alternative approaches by
examining differing yield scenarios. GTC’s Senior Director of Financial Planning and
Analysis Jim Kneece notes that, “IBM Cognos TM1 allows us to integrate activity plans
from Microsoft® Project directly into our forecasting system, which allows us to model in
exactly the same way we do our work. We can clearly see what is driving our business
and the potential effects of different strategies.” He also notes that, “this planning tool
has created mutual value by linking the operational lines and finance.”

The answer is probably no, but are you using project server by chance?
