Ops Console not accepting credentials

Hello
Some insight on an issue I am facing if poss. So I have ops console working on our 2 servers, data and application server but when I try to access ops console via client. Its giving me a 'The provided credentials are invalid. Please type your credentials for authentication' error. Originally I couldnt get it to work on the servers, but I regenerated the cog files by deleting original, restarting services and got it working on the servers.
Can anyone advise if they have seen this error and been able to resolve this issue and if so how?
