Hi All,

I would like to know why my TM1 hang/not responding when editting dimension and element. Usually occur during business hour where I believe there is user accessing dimension/element that I want to edit. Upon disconnect all the user that log in at that particular time, I able to edit the dimension/element without any issue.
Question:
1. Is there any article or information regarding this from IBM?
2. What is the best way to edit dimension/element during business hour where user accessing that dimension/element?

That's called locking. A good way to gain visibility into locking is to set up tm1top.

It is best to do dimension maintenance after hours when there aren't users in the system.
