Thanks Alan,
The code you linked to in the other thread is perfect. That was exactly the kind of solution I had in mind.

Schedule Chores to run only certain days?
Hello, and thanks in advance. It doesn't seem possible to me to schedule a chore so that it runs on only certain days. I would like to schedule a chore to run only Monday-Friday, and not on Saturday and Sunday. Is there any way to accomplish that? The only way I can think of is to make multiple copi...

Thanks, I just wanted to post here to make sure there was nothing else I could do to make it work.

Hidden Excel Values in TM1Web
I've created some input sheets that have columns with values that are hidden from view in Excel. They are formatted with the custom type ';;;'. However, when I publish the file to TM1 Web and open it up I can see these hidden values. Is there something I'm missing? I'm not that experienced with TM1W...

You're right, I'm an idiot. Oh well, at least now I know. Hopefully this helps someone else.

Memory Used For Input Data
In my 10.1.1 server, I realized that the physical memory usage had gone up a lot after I loaded a few cubes from a TI that connects though ODBC to a SQL database. I looked in the {StatsByCube Cube, and the "Memory Used For Input Data" is taking up like 90% of the memory! 2.2/2.4GB. I looke...

Re: TM1 10.2 Available for Download
I would be interested to see if Perfomance Modeler is actually usable now. I've heard it said that it's being pushed just to move away from Perspectives and spite Microsoft.

Re: 32 bit vs 64 Bit Compatable Issue
But my client ... You mean you are pretending to know about TM1 and actually charging someone for your lack of experience? Does your "Client" realise you are trying to learn on the job and, as soon as something doesn't work, you dash off a badly written, stream of consciousness query to a...

Global Variables
Do the values of Global Variables persist between processes in a chore? I've been reading over the documentation here, http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/ctm1/v10r1m0/index.jsp but don't quite understand it. If I defined a global variable, say, STRINGGLOBALVARIABLE('Month'); Month = 'April'; Will the...

Re: TI Editorsaurus Generating Incorrect CELLPUTN function
Interesting, I haven't ever really used the wizard so maybe someone more accustomed to it will provide an obvious response but since you are on v10, it's not relating to a cube that previously had a different number of dimensions and then had a dimension added/removed through performance modeler? N...

TI Editorsaurus Generating Incorrect CELLPUTN function
This is version 10.1.1
I just got a very strange error where TI generated a CELLPUTN function that had an extra comma. I fixed it by reselecting the cube on the Maps tab, but I thought it was really weird. Has anyone else run into this sort of thing?

I'm talking about the subsets themselves, not the elements...David Usherwood wrote:Several....

Re: Connect to different TM1 servers in different excel tabs
Need some urgent help in TM1 Perspectives: Can I connect to different TM1 servers in different excel tabs/sheets on the same excel workbook. If yes, how ? By consulting the Reference Guide (a link to which can also be found in the FAQ Post ) on the arguments to a DBRW Excel function. Alan, could yo...

Order of Subsets
Is there any way to rearrange the order of subsets besides the default alphabetical sort? I've created subsets of elements for a dimension where the elements correspond to a certain month, so the subsets are named after months. But when sorted alphabetically, it puts 'April' first. Is there any way ...

Changing LDAP Security to Default
This is for TM1 10.1.1, on Windows Server 2008, with Excel 2010.
If you have a server using LDAP security, and then you switch back to default TM1 security, what happens to the Users and Groups? Are they preserved? What happens to their passwords? Please let me know.
Thanks,

TM1 Converting to Static Excel Perspectives Report
Hello, I'm using TM1 version 10.1.1 on Windows 7 64-bit with Office 2007 32-bit. I was wondering if there was a way to convert a report in excel perspectives to use the static values in the DBR() cells, so that the report values can be viewed even when you don't have access to the TM1 server. I know...
