Re: CX with Citrix
Maybe so, but you won't find any that address his question about CX. All the existing posts are about standalone TM1, not CX. That being sais, I can't think of any reason why the client portion of Excelerator (the CX version of TM1) will not run under Citrix, it's basically the same thing as Perspectives. If you are talking about the other client portals into CX, I suppose they would work under Citrix too since all you need is a broswer session to access them.rkaif wrote:Search for 'Citrix' on this forum and you will find many results

Re: CX with Citrix
Citrix configuration is asking for "Command LIne" and "Working Directory" for the application to publish.
I entered ""C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\Cognos Express Clients\Xcelerator Client\jre\bin\javaw.exe" -jar ce_notifier.jar" for the command Line.
What should i be entering for the "Working Directory" ?

Re: CX with Citrix
winsonlee I know what you mean it took me a few minutes to figure this out too.
I set it up last night.
Ignore the Xcelerator shortcut that IBM provides that will never play ball with citrix
On my server 2008 R2 citrix box
Command Line is:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office14\EXCEL.EXE" "C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\Cognos Express Clients\Xcelerator Client\bin\tm1p.xla" "\\<mapped Location>\Menu\Main Menu.xls"
(I load excel 2010, xcelerator and my front end in one go)
Working Directory is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office14
Make sure your server references the one in your citrix farm with xcelerator on is
Hope that helps
