Upgrade from 9.1.2 to 9.5.X

Post by mbeckw »

I want to upgrade from 9.1.2 to 9.5. Is there a 32 bit version of 9.5? Will it work in Windows 2003 and/or Windows 2007? Is it simple enough that a person with a financial background (not IT) can do it? Is there anything I need to know before I try it? I would like to try this on a laptop first to make sure I don't mess up anything. Can I install 9.5 on a laptop using Windows 2007?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, TM1 comes in 32-bit and 64-bit version

It will work for sure with Windows 2003. By Windows 2007 you mean Windows 7?? If yes, then I believe only the very latest version 9.5.2 is supported on Win7. For details see the following URL:

Not sure but depends on your IT skills

Yes you can install the Server & client on a Laptop as long as you meet the requirements on the URL provided above.

Note that only version 9.5.2 is supported on Office 2003/2007/2010 - previous versions of TM1 were only supported for Office 2003 and 2007

Good luck!
Cheers!
