TM1TransactionLogBufferList Error

Hello,

I am running TM1 9.5 64 bit.

Windows Server 2003 x 64 SP2

Is this a known bug in the TM1server.log?

235472 ERROR 2010-06-02 16:55:31.149 TM1.Transaction TM1TransactionLogBufferList::DumpBuffers: Failed to write tm1s.log.

I delete the server log and bounce the server and it behaves but I dont want to bounch the server the whole time.

Hello,

This is the same problem as that is happening on my server. Restarting the tm1 service does help, but it would be nice to solve it on a different way. If anybode has an advice on this one it would be appreciated.

The same thing happens to our server. tm1s.log fails to get updated for a few days before we realised this error is generated other error log files that is 100MB in size each.

Is this unique to 9.5? I'm going to look at the 9.5.1 fix list to see if this is resolved in that version. Otherwise, it is quite a nightmare to have to restart the TM1 server so frequently.

Interesting..... Its seems like this will cure the problem.

Hopefully they have fixed this in 9.5 FP1

Did you do anything other than restart the server to resolve the issues?
