Hi,
I have a 32-bit ADMIN and TM1 server (9.0) installed on a Windows server 2003 x64 edition. Now I would like to install a 64-bit ADMIN and TM1 server (9.1 SP3) on the same machine.
Do I have to un install the existing servers(ADMIN and TM1) and then install the 64-bit versions or can the two ADMIN servers co-exist in the same physical machines?
Cheers,
Vijay.

Re: 64 bit upgrade
It would depend if you are trying to use the same database.
Once you have upgraded to 64bit and opened the database there's no going back.
Make sure you keep a copy of the 32 bit version of the database

Re: 64 bit upgrade
Sorry Carlos, but you're mixing up some things.
Changing from 32-bit to 64-bit does not change your database structure - only upgrading from a non-Unicode version (pre 9.4) to a Unicode version (9.4 and further) does.
So you can still open a database in a 32-bit TM1 server even if it already ran under 64-bit.
This is an install question regarding combinations of 32-bit and 64-bit TM1 Servers and TM1 Admin servers. This is a tricky thing, but possible (I have some customers running such combinations). If you want to run both 64 and 32 bit TM1 servers on the same machine, they all should register with the 32-bit admin server, if I'm correct, as the 32-bit TM1 server won't register with the 64-bit Admin server (in my experience). You can force this, if needed, by updating the dependencies for the TM1 servers through the Windows registry.
