Tm1p.xla in Web Slice

Post by Ajay »

Hi All

New to web so forgive my ignorance.

Noticed when slicing from the web that although the data sliced appears within an excel screen with the formulae intact, there is nothing you can actually do with it.

I'm wondering therefore whether i need to somehow get the xla recognised by IE for the user to log in. Is this done via IE in the "manage add-ons". If it is I haven't got a clue how to do it and whether I add the actual "tmp1.xla" or some other file.

Also when I select the PDF option I'm presented with a rather untidy pdf of what looks like an ordinary slice/snapshot. The default PDF software is PDF Camp. Is this normal or should I being using something perhaps a bit more fancy ?

Best regards
Ajay
