If that would be possible a cube could be organized to have the user his/hers preferred settings so they do not need to reset their preferences every time they query in a new TM1Web report.
In TMweb itself the Usernam is standing to the right above after 'Welcome:'...
But I do not seem to find any TM1 formula to apply within excel to get this Username into the report.
Is there any formula for that or a methodic to get around and have the same result?
Or is there somebody that has a better solution to manage SUBNM select parameters in TM1Web published websheets? In our case we have about 100 reports published. They are e.g. published with the month March. This means that every user has to select another month a 100 times (for each report) if he/she doesn't want to report on March but on another month. And this is just one of the many variable elements a user could select.
I would like to solve this with a report where pro-user can be chosen a set of parameters.
If the username is in the reports, the parameters would have to pop-up then.
It is even not the best solution as from then they always need to go to the parameter report to have another option.
At best an dynamic subset pro User on the dimension the of the parameters they need to choose would be a better solution if these are then first presented in the overviews published on TM1Web. But up to now I learned TM1web published reports only sho the variables that have been published along.
To be honest I can't image the Tm1Web product doesn't foresee solutions for this, it is a BIG user friendliness issue in my eyes.
Anyhow, maybe I'm not aware enough of the full capacities of the product and some of you know a suitable solution.
I hope this, 70 users are looking with angry looking red eyes to the current given solution. Soon i will turn into having nightmares
