I have a general question for everyone. At the company I work at I am trying to update some of the reports and processes to utilize some of the better features since 9.1, which was the version we were using when we started using TM1. (We now use 9.5.2 and are planning to upgrade up to 10.2)
All reports in the company use classic slice with a lot of workaround coding to emulate a zero supression on the rows. My first step has been to use active forms to replicate a few of these reports without all the extra formulas and T1 processes that were bolted on to the original slice reports. I managed to create one without too much difficulty with the documentation in the book and a couple queries to this board. Great.
My question is what features new since 9.1 should I be concentrating my time on that will help make our planning and reporting faster, easier and more automated.
An example of something I getting ready to look into is Sandboxes. Right now to make a scenario analysis we copy everything into a new version and adjust data in the new version. Well that takes up a lot of room on the server when you do a lot them, I am hoping sandboxes will help save server space and hopefully response times.
I know this is a broad question but I am hoping for a hint on a general direction to go in, most of my time is spent on doing analysis this is the first block of time I have had to try to make the system better.
Thanks
System was implemented using 9.1 and not much has changed

Some of the bigger features introduced where Parralell Interaction and Persistant Feeders. (On top of Sand boxing)These are more aimed at server optimization rather than reporting. I'm sure there are other updates that may be of use to you. I'm Mr. Kirk will be aware of most of them as he spends a lot more time in Excel reports than I do. Hopefully he'll be able to help out further, as some of the others will as well,
Jim.

As far as reporting is concerned the biggest thing is Active Forms and it is a must, IMO. VBA to zero-suppress is really passe and it obviously doesn't work in TM1Web. Another big thing is the PrintReport feature. It has been enhanced greatly since 9.1 and if you have people in the organization that don't have TM1 licenses it can be a handy way to get reports to them.
