Not mine. DD
will crash IE, both 6 (which we previously had) and 8 (which we do now). Guaranteed, and on any computer I've tried it on here. (I've used it from home before, but that was for WAY smaller packages. If I tried to download the thing at my home speed I'd probably get a pop-up advising me that "TM1 Version 11 is now available!" before I finished.)
Javascript is enabled; in fact there's a group policy that prevents us from disabling it to ensure that certain internal apps run. (Which means that I do most browsing from my own machine, given that some sites with useful content have a use
less design where Javascript's effect is more virus (not in a malware way, just a "really bad design" way) than content provider. On Firefox I have Web Developer which lets me toggle Javascript when I feel like it.)

Took me about 9.5 hours to get the 2 Gig 32 bit package.

Yup, got 'em. The lack of release notes doesn't surprise me; a lot of the NFG reads like release notes anyway. The only thing really missing from it is the bug fixes list, which is on the web but minimally useful given the brevity of a lot of the descriptions. (If, indeed, "description" is a valid word in this case.) It was really the install guide that I wanted; I just find it a lot easier to have a hard copy of it that I can follow and flip around in. Mind you, I wasn't counting on it being almost 300 pages.
Still, we're fortunate to have one at all; it seems that it hasn't been translated to all languages. I took a look to see whether the Italian one was there yesterday since I could have used that, but nope, there wasn't (and at the time of writing still isn't) one there.
