In 9.5.1 there is an "are you sure" pop up when the "c" spreading shortcut is entered. There is also an undo spread (as long as logging is on for the cube).
As far as I'm aware though there is no option to permanently or session disable "the are you sure" prompt for the clear spread as per Alan's request in this (very old) thread, you just get the prompt every time ...
