Free exercise

Post by bunchukokoy »

hi!

Ma'am/ Sir,

May I ask for an exercise, a free exercise? I'm new here and a new TM1 user. Please.

Thanks!

Hi and welcome to the world of TM1!

I'm not aware of any free training material, those people that do run training courses are unlikely to just give you stuff for free....
Your best bet initially is to work through the manuals that come with the product.
Feel free to come back with any specific questions though.
Cheers

Wow,

Thanks Sir Steve,
by the way, is there a step-by-step exercise within the product package?
or a how-to-use topics?

The manuals that Steve mentions contain all the "how-to-use" information you need. If you follow the manual through this will give you the step by step exercises. You can then extrapolate this to create your own exercises, e.g. create an HR cube that feeds information into a GL cube via rules or via Turbo Integrator. Creating a cube that has multiple currencies and uses a separate FX cube to calculate the different currencies from the local currency is a good real-world exercise.
