9.4 Process Data ODBC functionality
Trying to use the Process Data ODBC functionality. Following the Developer Guide, the TM1: Process Data: Process functionality appears not to be working. This process works fine for cube and flat file selections but table selection box is not appear for ODBC. Using the same ODBC selections in a process works fine. Any clues? Talking to IBM support they have to send to the developer and it may take awhile to get response as there is a big push to get 9.5 out the door. As always, thanks.

Re: 9.4 Process Data ODBC functionality
I can't say I have had cause to use this feature since version 8.1 but I just tested on 9.4.1 and it still appears to work (although it is painfully, painfully slow).
After specifying DSN user and password the "select table" dialog is is mislabelled "select cube" with the available tables, select table and click OK. Unlike TI there is no ability to provide a SQL query you can merely process a table as if it were a flat file.
The within spreadsheet data processing feature is client side so the DSN to the ODBC connection must be set up on the client PC, it won't pick up DSNs on the TM1 server. Possibly this is your problem?

Re: 9.4 Process Data ODBC functionality
Totally off-topic but this generates a picture of 9.5 desperately holding onto the door frame going "no no no I am not ready and I've not even shaved!" and all the devs standing around with cattle prods going "close enough is good enough, get out there!!"and it may take awhile to get response as there is a big push to get 9.5 out the door

Re: 9.4 Process Data ODBC functionality
Steve, you were correct. The process did work, I just didn't give it enough time (like over 5 minutes!!!!!!!!!). Why even offer functionality. Go figure! On webex with IBM support, they feel a bug. I have updated the SR with your information. Thanks for the heads up.
