HYPERION PLANNING SOLUTION ARCHITECT

THIS POSITION CAN BE BASED IN ANY MAJOR CITY IN AUSTRALIA BUT YOU MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO PERTH FROM TIME TO TIME FOR SEVERAL WEEKS AT A TIME.


The Hyperion Planning Solution Architect is extremely experienced in the implementation, configuration and support of Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Essbase. They have an understanding of the planning and reporting requirements of the finance areas of a business and will themselves have accounting / finance tertiary qualifications and, or experience.

The Hyperion Planning Solution Architect will have a strong pre-sales ability and will be experienced in the set up and walk through of Hyperion Planning proof of concept demonstrations.

This position reports to the Business Intelligence Team Leader.


Major Areas of Responsibility

Area Major Responsibilities
Pre Sales • Marketing of Hyperion capability
• Set up of Hyperion Planning proof of concept installations, customised to the client’s specific requirements.
• Conduct demonstrations of Hyperion Planning
• Conduct client presentations
• Participate in Tenders and Proposal
• Maintain (Hyperion) Oracle relationship in Region
Consultancy l • Responsible for the Solution Architecture & Design of Hyperion Planning implementations.
• Responsible for the delivery of Hyperion Planning solutions, provided in a timely manner to meet customer business requirements and in accordance with project specifications.
• Technical Team leadership of junior consultants.
• The ability to impart best practice approaches in the implementation of Hyperion Planning.
• Business Requirements Analysis.
• Solution Design workshops and documentation.
• Application configuration.
• System testing.
• Support of live applications.
Client Relationships • Develop and maintain professional relationships with client management and staff.

Qualifications and Experience Required

Essential

• At least 2 years experience in pre sales demonstration of Hyperion Planning.
• At least 5 years experience in the implementation of Hyperion Planning
• 4 years experience in accounting and commercial roles

Desirable

• Tertiary qualifications in accounting or finance
• Chartered Accountant or CPA
• Supervisory experience
• Experience with Quality Assurance Systems
