I know that the use of + as the first character of an Element name is not recommended/supported as per the following from IBM.
"Element names and MDX expressions
Do not use + or - as the first character of an element name. Although only the first element in a subset when slicing to active form cannot use + or - as the first character in the element name, it is a good practice to never use + or - as the first character of an element name."
But using it elsewhere in the name, has anyone had problems with PAW & PAfE? (Other than the issue currently being experienced with TM1SET)

Re: Use of + in Element names
I've never used it as an actual element name; but I regularly use "-" as a calculated member in MDX views to create spacing rows and columns.
I've never had any issues with that in PAW or PAFE.
