When can a string element be written as string

I'm having issues where string elements can't be written as string? Is there a guideline to know whether a specific string element cna be written as text or not. Cause at first I thought it could be the hierarchy of 1 of my dimensions but I noticed one of my cubes with 1 dimension having 2 string elements, I could write text even when I have heirarchy in different dimension. Then I thought maybe I had too many dimension, but the working cube has 6...I need to create a new cube with 5.

Hi

Make sure the dimension with the string elements is last in the cube.
You also might find that your server might react a bit temperamental if you have string elements in several dimensions in your cube.
