Hi All,
I have a cube view opened in PAW (latest version) and need to display the numbers as thousands using the custom format functionality without changing the underlying TM1 database number format. In Excel I would use a number format such as #,##0,;(#,##0,); but ending the format string with a ',' doesn't work in PAW.
PAW now has a built-in thousands display format but includes 1 decimal place and a 'K' at the end of every number. See attached menu I am referring to. I want the same format with no decimal places and no 'K' suffix. I've had a look through the PAW and ICU documentation but struggling to find a solution.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Ollie

Re: Custom number format in PAW View
After playing with PAW 2.0.59 (correction - not the latest version) a bit more I realised even if I change the TM1 database format to thousands, the view and visualisations would not update. My main motivation for doing this was to get the chart labels on axes and data points looking sensible rather than displaying the full unformatted numbers.
I found a post on the IBM forum confirming the number formats in PAW visualisations are broken since v2.0.59. Hopefully fixed very soon as no mention of it in release notes for 2.0.6-62 and the visualisations are ruined by the inability to abbreviate any labels on the data or axes.
