BCI Pull Error "Code 278, Get not supported on this Resource"

Post by lucasv98 »

I am attempting a data pull using BCI within PAX. I was originally provided with an exploration that I reformatted in a quick report to better suit my charting needs, however when I went to refresh the data I received the prompt "Code 278, 'Get' not supported on this resource". I then built out my own Exploration with the necessary contexts and am still receiving the same error code. In my own exploration the data is pulling properly, however I cannot make any adjustments once converted into a Quick view, and I cannot format it to my liking within the exploration mode. I have tried saving my exploration to a private view and restarting in a new spreadsheet and closing out all other open excel tabs running PAX, but nothing seems to fix the issue. Has anyone run into a similar problem in the past when using BCI? I also use WConsol and am not getting any errors. (Yes I am sure I am connected to the BCI server when attempting data refreshes.) I have attached the error message below as well, I appreciate any insight.

What version of PAX and PAW are you running? I have PAX 2.0.48 from November release and the January release of PAW 2.0.48 on IBM Cloud. I just started noticing this error the other day. I wouldn't immediately think it's related to the latest PAW release, but the timing makes me wonder. I have nothing for you to explain the error, but I have been able to resolve the error by clicking refresh a second time, navigating to another tab within the workbook and back before attempting another refresh, and closing/reopening the file. I seem to get the error most often immediately after a data commit when I manually refresh the sheet.
