Hello, we are planning to upgrade to PA on Windows from Tm1 10.2.2 on AIX
Which is the most stable version of PA that we can upgrade to. As we all know 2.0.9 is the latest we have.
Thanks

Re: most stable version for PA upgrade
I would go for 2.0.8 unless you would want to use the feature:
Use the ViewZeroOut TurboIntegrator function on MDX views (https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgece ... pport.html) or other features that were added in 2.0.9.
On a related note, PAW 2.0.48 has been released today:

Re: most stable version for PA upgrade
I am currently testing the 2.09 PA release at a client, so am not yet in a position to state its overall stability but things appear promising so far.
That being said, absolutely stay away from release 2.07. We upgraded to that just prior to our production release in order to take advantage of the hubless connection to PA for PAX. However, upon production release and heavy user interaction, we started encountering server crashes on an almost daily basis. Root cause analysis with IBM required us to turn off UseStargateForRules due to a bug they discovered. This stopped the server crashes, but in turn caused multiple thread lockups and WAITING states for users when PAX was issuing numerous DELETE/GET apiCellset calls to PA. The only way to prevent this issue was to set the MTQ setting to 0.
2.08 corrected the UseStargateForRules issue and we are working toward using 2.09 with the expectation that some additional issues have also been resolved in the most recent release.

Re: most stable version for PA upgrade
Thanks for sharing. We are on 2.0.8 and hopefully, it is stable enough. Does IBM still have major release or minor release?
