Hi.
Please let us know what module are you using and tm1 version
Security can be applied on dimensions, cubes, cells, based on user groups. Also security can be changed based on rules.
Is a limit access to a group of users? Everyone? Does it change from time to time?

Re: Can we add security to an action button?
You cannot control access to a button but you can control access to the form that a button exists on (adding security to the }Applications folder) or, if the button executes a TI process you can just not give access to run the process. Sounds like you need a basic training class and then pay attention to the part about security. These are all pretty basic things.habibullah.sayyed wrote: ↑Tue Oct 15, 2019 9:50 am Hello evryone,

A question like this tells me that you haven't read the documentation, nor followed any trainings or did your own self training.

Look we want to give access to a whole group for running TI by action button & what if we want to give access to a specific person ?

Sure. Find an IBM partner near where you live and for the right amount of money, you can get your training. I could do it too if you were living in my neighborhood and if you can allocate the right funds

Re: Can we add security to an action button?
If you use Applications you can check user that is running the process (on save, submit, reject, etc).habibullah.sayyed wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2019 5:36 am version is 10.2.2

You can also set security access for the TI process (for a user group).
