attaching chart to active report sheet

how can i attach chart to active form (excel)

You can have a chart share a sheet with an active form but it must be above or below the active form not on the rows owned by the active form. (I'd suggest placing the chart above the active form then it will have a fixed position).

The chart would need to the fed from a region outside the active form though as linking the data source of the chart to the rows of the active form would probably be unworkable as the expansion/contraction of the rows would constantly shuffle the data series in the chart around.

Also in my experience although a chart and active form combo will work fine in Excel but is not liked by TM1 Web and the websheet will not render. Hopefully this is a bug which will be sorted in a future update.

tnx for the answer, i fed a range out side the active form and set it as source for chart after changing year for instance and recalculate the sheet the outside area miss fed .

may god save the tm1 developers !!!!
