Hide / encrypt password in paramter cube

Hi there,
I need to drive an Export and have to copy the exportfile to a ftp-Server. therefore, I have a ftp-user and a ftp-Passwort. I tend to write both to my parametercube, where I store all parameters as paths, adresses etc.

Is there a possibility not to write the Password in clear letters to this (or another) cube, so that it can not be read, but to encrypt it in any way?

What about using cube security instead of encryption ?
Much easier.
