Need Hepl when Employee Status changes in between a year

Post by Akshay Chimankar »

I am having Employee Status as an element in a measure dimension whose Values Are 'Existing','Retiered' and 'As Is' (made a picklist of it) Another element is ExistingEmpCount And Next is Leftout EMp Count.
if the Status of the employee is 'Existing' or As Is then value in ExistingEmpCount is 1 and
if the Status of the employee is 'Retired' then value in LeftOutEmpCount is 1.
And there also time scale As Full Year-Q1-Jan,Feb,Mar Q2-Apr,May,Jun........

i Want if the employee is retired in suppose march month then the Status should be turned as 'retired' from april month to dec (Rest of the year) it should contain Retired in Status.

plz help.

It sounds to me like rules would be able to deliver the behaviour you want.

Your logical requirements are fairly clearly stated in your post and it should be straightforward to translate them into Rules.

Can I ask what the issue is?

Hmmm, I'm shocked...Seems like the OP did not read the guidelines (http://www.tm1forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1037).
