Cognos Maximo Integration

Hello,

I am setting up an environment to develop reporting for Maximo. I have a good understanding of TM1 at this point and I am ready to start thinking about my data model. I ran across a Cognos Maximo Integration document today that provides information for Cognos Report Object Structures (ROS) in Maximo. I am wondering a few things:

1 - Were ROS's included out of the box in 7.5?
2 - Would ROS's be a good starting point to create my data model in TM1?
3 - I have the Maximo Entity Diagrams and the Maximo tables on an Oracle server that I can access, but if anyone has any additional information or can point me to some documentation that would be helpful in creating a data model for Maximo I would certainly appreciate it. From what I understand we have lots of customizations, but this might be a good starting point.
