We jumped from version 8.4.4 to 9.4 recently...
When doing a snapshot the normal "title" stuff that is added to the top left corner of the excel sheet such as "CUBE: server:Cube", and the dimension name used (Column "A") is output, but the actual selected elements from the dimensions is missing (usually in column "B"). In 8.4.4 a snapshot would output this info correctly. Wondering is this something requiring me to configure a setting somewhere, or yet another annoyance/shortcoming with this "new" version. I have a bunch of users complaining at me. A slice produces the info just as expected, so I told my users to use slices instead. Also I get this annoying error everytime I run a snapshot "No return() or halt() function found on macro sheet", perhaps this is causing the problem?

Re: Snapshots and Selected Dimension Elements
sounds like it might be a dodgy client install, maybe issues with missing files (dll/ocx etc). If possible grab a machine you can play with and uninstall / reinstall the client and see what happens. Even better if its a completely clean machine and not got 9.4 on it already.
If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator.

Re: Snapshots and Selected Dimension Elements
Which version of 9.4 are you on?
We reported this 'feature' as a bug in the first release of 9.4. A fix for is was issued as 9.4 HF3, and it is fully included in 9.4 MR1 and later.
Unless they have managed to re-introduce it of course...
