Use localized TM1 objects in Cognos' report tools

I created a TM1 cube and localized my elements and dimensions by using the 'Caption' attribute. Now I have to create some reports in two languages using this cube. However the created language information are not considered. Is it even possible to use this way of localization in Cognos BI/Analytics or do I have to create an alias for each language and make the proper assignment during the package creation in the Framework Manager?

I do have the same issue but I over come by using below method.

I have created alias for 2 languages. I have created 2 cubes with same data ex: German_cube and Arabic_Cube.
Created reports for different languages.

Don't you think it's a lot of overhead ?
