Hello experts.
May I ask if there's any way we can approach this? We're required to use an image for our help button in our TM1 Websheets, and it's also a requirement that the links be stored in a cube because there are gonna be different help files specific to the sheets. these Help files are not Excel files, but DOC and PDF files.
However, the hyperlink feature in the image, can not read the DBRW value in the sheet as a link. It does not even activate the cell when I click the image. It does in Excel.
On the other hand, the HYPERLINK function in Excel, I looked for a way to mask the text with the image, but there's seems to be no way to achieve that.
And there's seems to be no work-around using the Action button to open a file.
Has anyone had a similar rqmt? Thanks in advance.

You should use the Excel HYPERLINK function in order to activate the Links
Also look into TM1Web URL API if you want your hyperlinks to open TM1Web Websheets or CubeViews

Re: Image with hyperlinks stored in cubes
Hi Ardi, Thanks for the reply.
However, yes the Excel HYPERLINK function is working fine in Tm1Web. But the user requires to use an image to serve as a button. Using the Excel Hyperlink function, is there a way I can mask the hyperlink, not with text, but with the image?
Sorry guys, I think this is more on Excel questions.
Specific pages will have their own help files, and users should be able to change these files anytime, that's why we created a cube where they can store these links.

Re: Image with hyperlinks stored in cubes
I think you are going to be pretty much out of luck on this one. AFAIK you have two options:
1) Convert the help files to be an Excel sheet instead of .doc or .pdf. Shouldn't be that hard.
2) I don't know about your "images" but there are a number of images that are part of the wingdings and webdings fonts that work in TM1Web. I have used them in TM1Web and they work fine.
