Hi,
Has anybody used the dashboard capability of TM1.
We are planning migration from qlickview to TM1, just wanted check your experience on TM1 Dashboard.
We have seen that Cognos 8 Dashboard have many features.
But we can't use Cognos 8 dashboard with TM1, as we are using cognos 8.2(which is not compatiable with TM1 9.4).
Please advice on TM1 Dashboard capability, are there any documents/manuals available for the same.

Hello,
You require 9.4 GA release of Cognos 8 to be able to install Go Dashboard. Once this is installed it is fairly straight forward to setup the go dashboard for TM1 cubes.
As Go dashboard is flash based you need to make sure you have the following software for the client:
Adobe® Flash™ 9, Microsoft Core XML Services (MSXML) 6.0 Service Pack 1

I have to say Go dashboard didn't occur to me. I wasn't sure what was meant by TM1 dashboard but my first thought would have been using Excel's dash boarding capabilities with TM1 Web. It may not make the most interactive dashboard but then again dashboards are seldom very interactive. But it is relatively simple and quick to design a dashboard in Excel and then publish it with TM1 web.
