Error: Prolog procedure line (0): Unable to open data source

Hi

Just thought I would post this one as I get this error from time to time and don't always remember the reason.

Error: Prolog procedure line (0): Unable to open data source "<cube name>"

Other searches for this error say that it is due to the account under which the TM1 Service is running not having access.

In our case the source was a Cube View. The reason for the error was that one of the subsets in the view had no elements. The solution was to fix that issue. Unfortunately it is not obvious from the error message that this was the cause of the problem.

HI Paul, I think the last time I saw this I had a process that deleted the view then tried to use it as a data source further down in prolog - cart before horse.
