Hi,
I am interested if anyone tried to use this excel feature over the web and it ever worked.
There are two excel sheets. On the first we have some cells populated from TM1.
Then on the second tab we paste that TM1-related range with the "Linked Picture" paste option. Anytime the first sheet is updated, the picture on the second sheet updates as well, and the size is also automatically updated.
This does not work on the web (10.2.2 FP4), it seems the picture itself is being displayed but it is not a linked picture but a static, as of when it was uploaded to the web.
Thank you!
Matyas

You're asking for a dynamic picture on TM1Web? I'm almost 100% certain this is not supported, nor will ever be.

Re: Linked Picture on TM1 Web
correct, auto-resizing the picture box works surprisingly well in Perspectives, and we were wondering if we could use this on the web.
Anyway, we opened a service request with IBM just to confirm if this is the case.
Thanks!

That is what I would expect, this functionality and the Camera functionality are just part of Excel.mvaspal wrote:auto-resizing the picture box works surprisingly well in Perspectives
The underlying cells are filled with TM1 functions but that doesn't make any difference.
Also I'm quite sure this kind of stuff is not supported on TM1 Web, yet it could be useful.

Re: Linked Picture on TM1 Web
Thanks Wim for your reply,
You are right we have just tested it with a very few, non tm1-related cells and it does not work.
It could have solved our "2 active forms alongside each other" issue

Re: Linked Picture on TM1 Web
I regard this as a great Excel feature for building dashboards and "escaping the grid" that Excel imposes. But it is an obscure feature that is very seldom used in practice and I would be very, very surprised if it was ever supported in TM1 web.
Please place all requests for help in a public thread. I will not answer PMs requesting assistance.
