Hi guys,
I am working on a Consolidation Project with TM1 10.2.2 version. As ı know TM1 user types become Power User and End User(Maybe there are more different types of user but generally like this).
The problem is for admin user everything is ok. He can do anything with the dimensions, views, cubes, rules.
But end user when he/she trace the rule, they can see the rule but they can not see the data it shows everything 'N/A'. İs this beacuse of being end user. or not?
Thanks..

Re: TM1 User Types
Mostly N/A error occurs due to incorrect use of dividing (forward slash) '/' . Division by zero using this operator returns an undefined value,Where as \ (back slash) DivisionDivision by zero using this operator returns zero. Please check your rules again.Thanks.

Re: TM1 User Types
You are right BariAbdul. But in this case the differences of the users just about user type being admin or not. when admin trace the same rule it shows the data not N/A.
Thanks for reply..

Re: TM1 User Types
Did you check the permissions for the users.Since admin can view everything that is the reason you might be seeing whole,Might be data rights issue. Not quite sure ,Though! Thanks

Re: TM1 User Types
Do the users have at least read security rights to the cells that are being referenced? If not then I believe that what you are seeing is likely "by design". Although calculations will always work regardless whether end users have access to the intermediate cells in the calculation chain this doesn't mean that users will be able to see the values when doing a rule trace. This did use to be the case but the rule tracer circumventing security was raised as a security issue. I can't recall off the cuff exactly when this was fixed but I believe it was and what you are seeing is a result of that.AliUgur wrote:Hi guys,

Re: TM1 User Types
My question wiil change a little bit. The problem is not about data. Its about attributes. The end user can not see the attribures value but admin can see it.
Have any idea?
Thanks..

Re: TM1 User Types
And what exactly do you think an attribute is? It's just data stored in a cube like everything else in TM1. If you don't have security access to the attribute cube then you can't see them.AliUgur wrote:My question wiil change a little bit. The problem is not about data. Its about attributes.
