MIGRATION from TM1 10.2.2 Cloud to 10.2.2 OnPremise

Hi Guys,

I have one question for the ones who have been there, i need to migrate from 10.2.2 cloud to 10.2.2 on premise, as this is my 1st migration (and all my clients have only 1 environment) what best practices would you recomend to me?

In termos of export/import TI/Dimension/Cubes/TM1 apps in Performance Modeler i have no question.
My big concern is about keep TM1 groups and user that were created in the cloud system.
I assume that migrating the }ClientGroups.cub, }Clients.dim, }Groups.dim and also }CellSecurity, }ElementSecurity, }DimensionSecurity, }CubeSecurity, }ProcessSecurity, }ChoreSecurity i will keep all current grups and users who were created in TM1, also migrating the other security cubes i will maintain the security applied to each dimention, cube, elements etc.
What do you guys think?

Why overthink things? If you simply copy all the files and folders from your cloud-based data folder to your new environment it will be an exact replica. The only thing you have to deal with is to make the necessary changes to the TM1S.CFG file to account for different admin host settings, data folder location and logging folder location.

Do you use native TM1 security on the cloud, or AD through SAML?
What kind of authentication will you use on-premise?
