TM1 Formula trace

Hi Team

I would like post question on TM1 Tracing, Users were asking for formula tracing from the Budget View, i understand that TM1 has the functionality to trace the formula but users may not understand the Tm1 specific formulas, please advice if there is any other better method like Excel where formula is self explanatory.

This is not an Enhancement request (refer to the Enhancement Forum Guidelines) and has been moved to the correct forum.

There is no built in functionality for doing a formula trace in TM1. One of the most common ways of obtaining that functionality is by using the TM1 Tools add-in, which will be found here.

Train the users. In the end, that's the best you can do.
Or hire (professional) TM1 training if the competence is not in-house.
