TM1 Certification

Hi All,

I am new member and would like to know about how to get a certification as a developer or to become a TM1 Cognos Consultant.

I have worked on TM1 Cognos as an end user / analyst for 6 years (working with HSBC in Saudi Arabia and in Australia in finance teams). I have moved to Australia in 2012 was doing some other job but thought to get back to TM1 Cognos.

I would also appreciate if any one can assist in seeking a tm1 Cognos job in Australia (not sure if I am allowed to write this admin pls guide me).

As to certification, try using the search functionality, there have been quite a few discussions on how to approach it.

However, my advice is to focus on getting the actual skills rather than just a piece of paper. When I recruit TM1 developers I'm not at all interested in whether they are certified in anything or not. I am interested in how much they actually understand and can do. With your background you probably don't need any training, so you'd want to go straight to work as a junior developer with people who can actually teach you something good. Look around, maybe one of the quite a few decent IBM partners in Australia is looking for someone?
