TM1 Performance Modeler Deploy Error

Hi,

I'm new on TM1 and when I try to deploy an application on performance modeler it tells me:

:java.lang.RuntimeException: DEFINE_COMMON_DATA_FOR_APPLICATION FAILED: app=xx (Invalid XML; No end marker for "common_parts_block")

Any one faced this error before ?

Please help!

Did you go in to Cognos Configuration to make sure eveyrthing was deployed before trying to open it?

Application already deployed and works.

I changed approval dimension (add nodes) and I need to deploy the application to apply the changes.

OK. I have this error before when trying to deploy an application where one had been and hadn't been removed properly. Have you had an application deployed before within the same data folder? Did you dpeloy one on UAT before copying over??

I found the same error, but it was a picklist pointing to an unexisting dimension/subset.

Hi all. I found another situation for this error to happen, so I'm posting it as I google this error and found the same stuff again.
When changing the approval hierarchy, you need to check if the cube views are not using the old subset (hierarchy).
It seems pretty obvious, but deploy messages are not.
