It's a known issue.

1. Stop the TM1 Application Server service
2. Go to <TM1 install location>\Tomcat\work\catalina\localhost\ and delete or rename the pmhub and pmpsvc folder.
3. Restart the TM1 Application Server service.

Has anyone found a solution to this issue?

I have removed the folders noted above (thanks it was worth a try)

I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times...10.0/10.1/10.2 and 10.2 FP1 and still same issue. Guided Import just spins on the screen....no matter if in Performance Modeler or Insight. I can drag and drop into Insight and it will generate.

I click guided import into any Performance Modeler area and the Import Dimension/Import Data etc. header appears but the screen never fills in, all I get is a wheel spinning in the middle of the screen and the option above for Help, Maximize or close then across the bottom I see: < Back, Next >, Finish, Close. The only way I can get out of the window is hit escape.

Any suggestions appreciated

IE 11 -- I have checked the options against another system that is working.

What about JAVA? Are there any particular settings that could be causing an issue?

Thanks

The import runs in a Microsoft web browser control and so it dependent on the version of IE you have installed.

If possible 'downgrade' to IE10.

I believe it should work with 10.2.1 FP1. What exact version of CI/PM do you have installed?

Thank you Dr Nybble

CI/PM = 10.2.1 for both

I was able to get it to work. Initially by downloading and installing the Personal Edition of Cognos Insight (I had to uninstall the TM1 installed CI). But after uninstalling the Personal Edition and re-installing the complete TM1 (including the CI feature) I was right back to the same issue -- CI worked but the Guided Import just spins.

To fix it, I went to http://localhost:9510/pmpsvc/ and after logging in, I clicked on the CI/PM icons - it prompted me to install CI and shazam it worked.

Not sure what the difference was but I noticed that when the guided import did not work, that TM1IPMP.EXE was not running.

Hope this helps someone else,
T
