Version 9.1.3.
Anyone getting a delayed "paste" in TM1Web? On our installation, pasting a 9 * 20 matrix of numbers (from local Excel to the web sheet) takes about a minute .. and occasionally you can see the change "rippling" down and across the sheet. If you press "F9" before the full paste has executed, the remaining cells are not pasted.
Incidentally, in testing this I have tried it out on a completely blank websheet with no TM1 formulae in at all and it still behaves the same way.
thanks .............hugh

Re: Paste Delay in TM1Web
Hi!
I encounter the same issue like hbell.
For test reasons I paste only 36 cells into the websheet (copy-source is an unrelated excel-file). These cells contain only the number "1".
Now this happens:
The correct output is generated in the cells (italic). I press the F9-button to commit the changes. The browser reloads the page but only a few cells have been updated. But: If I paste the data into the cells and WAIT a few seconds before pressing F9 the data is appearing correctly.
So in the background some transactions are carried out (maybe into some cache??). I don't know what happens but I would like to monitor these transactions and would like to prevent the user from using the F9 button during the update-process.
The TM-Version is 9.4.1 and the browser is Firefox 14.
Hope someone may be able to help here?
Thank you guys already!
Konstantin

Re: Paste Delay in TM1Web
The first question I would ask is do you have TM1 Web and the TM1 service running on the same box?

Re: Paste Delay in TM1Web
Thanks for your quick answer!
At the moment this is not the case. An installation on the same server is planned for August, though.

I also thought that maybe it's possible to open a messagebox through JavaScript once the caching (if it is the reason) has been done?

I would look at this once you have the installation on the same box. This can lead to significant performance detriment. Especially when you consider a web form will be interacting with the API over a network which can be slow,
